Only with rich biodiversity can we rely on a vital living environment in the future, which is why TAUW Netherlands joins forces with nature organisations, governments, businesses and citizens to restore biodiversity in our country. On 22 April 2021 we became an official partner of the Deltaplan Biodiversiteitsherstel (Delta Plan for Biodiversity Restoration): an initiative to develop high-impact solutions that will bring back a diverse ecology to the Netherlands. Working groups share knowledge and develop concrete projects that improve biodiversity. More than 100 partners and 80 supporters have now joined the Delta Plan. Together, we can pool knowledge and increase our ability to achieve biodiversity gains. A partnership therefore brings many benefits. Louise Vet, initiator of the Deltaplan Biodiversiteitsherstel and professor of ecology, is pleased with the participation of TAUW: “TAUW adds important knowledge and experience that helps to discover opportunities and to develop effective projects in the field of biodiversity restoration.”
