Our partners

Together with our clients, business partners, social partners and networks we are creating a sustainable future.

Our clients

TAUW provides environmental consultancy to over 500 multinational, industrial clients in Europe. We have been collaborating with the majority of these industries for many years. For some, TAUW has been a trusted partner for over 20 years.

The technical expertise and reliability TAUW has demonstrated time and again are a strong driver behind these long-term relationships, but it’s not the only factor. Clients have reported in our periodic surveys that the open and transparent communication they experience with our colleagues is one of the keys behind the high client satisfaction we observe every year. Aligning with our clients’ needs, priorities and aspirations while staying authentic and true to the values of TAUW is our secret in achieving long-term quality partnerships.

TAUW’s contribution to a vital living environment can only be effective when our clients trust TAUW to develop solutions that will be best suited for them. Working across sites, allows us to be proactive and see beyond the technical constraints of a specific project. We apply the knowledge we have developed about our client’s specific business and production processes in the work we provide them across sites and borders. We identify and address structural improvements and adaptations across productions sites, provide the information that our clients need to prioritise their environmental obligations and aspirations and look with them at the positive impact they want to have as a company. This is how we maximise the value that we bring to our clients. From this position we can build bridges within our client’s organisation, connecting the right experts and project managers to effectively address an environmental challenge and ensure our solutions are impactful and sustainable.

With the current, strong European political drive to address some of the main environmental global challenges, the fast evolving legal framework and the need to apply the best available technology across borders and sectors make it more relevant than ever to work as a European partner with our multinational clients.

In order to continually improve the way we serve our clients and to implement more impactful solutions, TAUW has been proactively approaching its industrial clients at a multinational European level or global level. We are working to further develop our collaboration with this client group and build long-lasting partnerships that allow both TAUW and our industrial clients to take additional steps in achieving our visons.

We advise and support multinationals, industry, investors, real estate companies and public authorities. Together we are creating a sustainable future.

*In surveys, customers are asked to what extent they would recommend us on a scale from 0 to 10. The group of respondents who give a score between 0 to 6 is labelled as ‘detractor’. The group that gives a 9 or 10 is qualified as ‘promoter’ and the rest (scores 7 and 8) as ‘passive neutral’. By reducing the percentage of promoters with the percentage of detractors, the NPS is created. For example, if the survey shows that 30% of the respondents are promoters and 20% detractors, the NPS is +10.

TAUW Foundation

The TAUW Foundation is a valuable partner in promising sustainable initiatives that create societal impact. TAUW Foundation and TAUW Group share a common history, and both their mission and vision are aligned. Working together, increases the potential impact. TAUW Foundation financially supports, and thereby accelerates, innovative and sustainable projects that help create a better world and a vital and sustainable living environment. The initiatives aim to deliver a social return aligned with several UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s). TAUW promotes partnership with TAUW Foundation to work on these rewarding projects. Existing clients and partners of TAUW are an important target group for submitting and implementing initiatives. TAUW employees shape the cooperation in the implementation of the supported initiatives in various national and international consortia.

Examples of projects are greening of schoolyards, improving the environmental quality at a former pesticide storage facility, and the development of the Shoreliner a floating debris catchment system to reduce plastic soup. One 2021-example of a TAUW Foundation dream project in a partnership with TAUW is ‘Sea-algal waste put into valuable bio-resource’. This dream project proposes bioconversion of algal waste into a nutrient rich resource by means of co-composting. The resulting product can be used as an organic fertilizer for agricultural purposes, gardening or in tree nurseries. The result is twofold: a reduction in the need for inorganic fertilizers and a substantially smaller carbon footprint, as well as clean beaches!
